MONTGOMERYVILLE GIANT FOOD STORE ANNOUNCES HEALTHY IDEAS CLASS SCHEDULE FOR MARCH

Carlisle, PA – Have your New Year’s resolutions fallen by the wayside? Or maybe you’re looking to jump start your healthy eating in time for spring? Christina Fava, MA, RDN, LDN, in-store nutritionist at the Montgomeryville GIANT Food Store is offering several free classes throughout March to help get you and your family on a healthier track.

The March schedule of classes includes:

  • Power Up with Breakfast, Tuesday, March 3 from 1-2 p.m. or 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
    Breakfast is often low on the priority list (or not on it at all!) If you think you’re saving time or cutting calories by skipping breakfast, think again. Learn more about the benefits of breakfast along with healthy breakfast ideas.

  • Healthy Snacks for Children, Thursday, March 19 from 1-2 p.m. or 5:30-6:30 p.m.
    Fueling up with the right foods is essential to keep both your kids and yourself energized and alert during the day. Learn tips for high energy snacking. Sample some of these great-tasting snacks too!
  • Healthy Snacks for Children, Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

  • What’s for Dinner? Tuesday, March 31 from 1-2 p.m. or 5:30-6:30 p.m.
    Do you struggle with what to serve for dinner? Getting tired of same old meals? This this class is for you! We’ve got tips on preparing quick, healthy and tasty meals your whole family will love. You’ll leave with several recipes to try at home.

Classes meet in the nutritionist’s office located within the Montgomeryville GIANT located at 1201 Knapp Road. All of these classes are free, but registration is required by calling 215-661-1025.
