Carlisle, PA – GIANT Food Stores today announced it will open a new store at 4855 West Chester Pike in Edgmont/Newtown Square later this year. The site formerly housed a Genuardi’s which closed in June 2010.

“We are excited to soon serve the vibrant neighborhoods of Edgmont and Newtown Square, offering customers our distinct combination of quality, selection, and savings,” said Rick Herring, president. Renovations on the 43,000 square foot store will begin later this summer and will include updated interior décor and the addition of features and amenities that customers have come to expect from the GIANT shopping experience.
