GIANT FOOD STORES REACHES 100TH FUEL STATION MILESTONE
Newest location opens in Souderton on December 19
Carlisle, PA – GIANT Food Stores today announced it will open its 100th fuel station on Wednesday, December 19 at 8 a.m. The new fuel station is located in the parking lot of the GIANT store at 760 Route 113 in Souderton.
“Since we opened our first fuel station in 1998, GIANT has been committed to offering customers the convenience of filling their grocery carts and gas tanks with one stop shopping,” said Rick Herring, president. “Our customers’ overwhelming response to this added convenience and their enthusiastic support of our Gas Extra Rewards program have helped us to achieve this 100th station milestone.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony will mark the grand opening at 8 a.m. on December 19. In celebration of the 100th GIANT fuel station, a free coffee coupon will be handed out to all gas customers between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cake will be served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The fuel station will have twelve pumps, each with a Pay-at-the-Pump feature. Gas mitts to keep hands clean and waterless hand soap, in addition to free air, also will be available. In addition, for every $100 spent on grocery and pharmacy out-of-pocket expenses at any GIANT using a Bonuscard, customers will receive ten cents off per gallon of gas when they fill up as part of the Gas Extra Rewards program. Points can be earned and redeemed now through January 19. GIANT gift cards can be purchased and redeemed at fuel sites including the new Souderton fuel station.
