Carlisle, PA – All aboard! GIANT Food Stores is calling all kids ages 6 to 10 to hop on the Kid Healthy Ideas Nutrition Express and learn about making healthier choices. The Nutrition Express will be on July 12 at both 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. and again on August 22 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the GIANT Cooking School, located within GIANT Super Food Store at 3301 Trindle Road in Camp Hill.

In-store nutritionist Sylvia Warner and the Cooking School Team will show kids how to make “rails to trails” snack mix and become a breakfast engineer. Visit the beverage car to learn how sugary drinks really add up and bring up the caboose with a healthy dessert, learning how the MyPlate guidelines can contribute to good health and nutrition.

“The Kid Healthy Ideas Nutrition Express is a fun and interactive way to learn about proper nutrition and health,” said Sylvia Warner, Camp Hill GIANT’s in-store nutritionist. “Kids can have fun and take home a free gift, all while learning more about healthy eating.

Registration is required for both dates by calling 717-724-1166 or visiting the Community Center in the Camp Hill GIANT store.
