MARTIN'S FOOD MARKETS ANNOUNCES STORE MANAGER FOR NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART ALTOONA LOCATION
Altoona, PA - Giant Food Stores announced today that Craig Simpson has been appointed as store manager of the new Martin's Food Market located at 200 E. Chestnut Avenue. The store will open the doors of its brand-new Altoona location on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. This newly-built 62,000 square foot store will replace the existing Martin's located less than one mile away at East 25th and Ivyside Drive. "The new store will feature much of what customers have come to expect in Martin's newer prototype stores, especially in the areas of health and wellness and customer convenience," said Craig Simpson, store manager. "We will also double the number of store associate positions to 170 as compared with approximately 85 at the old Altoona store."
